Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to the Coronavirus
As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Central Virginia Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Central Virginia Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Learn About Us

Located in Roanoke, Virginia, Roanoke Comprehensive Treatment Center is a premier provider of medication-assisted treatment for men and women, aged 18 and older, who wish to break free from an addiction to opioids. With programming that is geared towards assisting patients on their individual journey towards lasting sobriety, our treatment includes a combination of safe medications and therapeutic interventions that are proven effective in helping men and women achieve the recovery needed to live happy and healthy lives.

Our Treatment Therapies

Our team of specially trained physicians and nurses understands the complex nature of opioid addiction and is experienced in caring for those caught in the grips of a heroin, morphine, and/or prescription painkiller addiction. These caring staff members closely monitor the prescribing and administration of the medications we use and work in collaboration with each patient to ensure that the most successful treatment outcomes are attained. The following medications are those that can be incorporated into our patients’ treatment plans, of which are individually tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs:

  • Methadone
  • Subutex
  • Suboxone

Prior to beginning medication-assisted treatment at our center, patients meet with our staff to determine which of the above medications will be implemented into their treatment plans. The dosages recommended and any changes made are supervised by our medical personnel so that patients can place their attention on other aspects of the recovery process.

At Roanoke Comprehensive Treatment Center, we believe that, in order for a person to achieve true recovery from his or her opioid addiction, he or she must come to understand why and how chemical dependency became a factor in his or her life. We also believe that it is necessary for an individual to process his or her feelings and emotions during recovery, receive ample support from professionals and others who have endured similar struggles, and have a forum to share victories and setbacks while in treatment. Stemming from these beliefs, we provide the following therapeutic services and interventions to each and every patient who comes to us for treatment:

  • Transitions Program
  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling
  • Doctor and nursing care that includes daily medication dosing
  • Case coordination

These services are led by our experienced staff who can help our patients garner the confidence and skills needed to achieve and sustain lasting recovery from an opioid addiction.

If you or someone you love wishes to end an addiction to opioids, look no further than Roanoke Comprehensive Treatment Center. Our dedicated team of professionals can help you get your life back on track.
