Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to the Coronavirus
As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Central Virginia Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • We are offering visitation through telehealth services so that our patients can remain connected to their loved ones.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Our Therapeutic Treatments

Therapeutic Treatments for Opioid Abuse

At Central Virginia Comprehensive Treatment Centers, we know that overcoming an addiction to opioids requires more than simply having the desire to stop using. We recognize that the path to recovery is often a long and turbulent one, ripe with many obstacles and, oftentimes, many setbacks. For this reason, our highly-trained and skilled staff believes that it is imperative to have additional services incorporated into the comprehensive care offered to patients in order to provide them with the most well-rounded opportunity for recovery possible.

Our Therapeutic Interventions

Therapeutic Interventions for Opioid Abuse

In order for this to happen, we believe that the emotional turmoil that haunts individuals who are fighting an addiction to opioids must be confronted, addressed, and treated so that true healing can begin. At Central Virginia Comprehensive Treatment Centers, we offer the following therapeutic interventions in addition to the medication-assisted treatment component of programming:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
  • Transitions program
  • Comprehensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment (COSAT)

These interventions are all led by experienced counselors who are fully devoted to helping patients achieve successful results in the most effective way possible. Each patient will participate in these additional programming options depending on his or her unique needs and what will be of most benefit to his or her ultimate recovery journey.
